Corporate Social Responsibility and the Danish Responsibility Authority
The CSR team at the Danish Business Authority works to improve the conditions of the business community and to create growth for the benefit of both the business community and society at large.
This is achieved by promoting corporate social responsibility (CSR) through development and dissemination of new knowledge, guidelines and tools for companies.
The role of the CSR team is:
- to monitor the implementation of the Government's inter-ministerial action plan for corporate social responsibility 2012-15 which includes more than 40 initiatives
- to act as the secretariat for the Danish Council for Corporate Responsibility and the Mediation and Complaints-Handling Institution for Responsible Business Conduct
- to handle a number of projects and activities promoting strategic CSR among Danish companies
The CSR team consists of eight employees.
